Button Shimmer was born to Fawn Shine and Finch Foot alongside his siblings: Cedar Fur, Warbler Talon, and Groundhog Dash. He was mentored by Beech Storm. He graduates and is honored for his responsibility. While on patrol with Feather Pelt, the two were attacked by a rogue named Ferret.

Button Shimmer is a short-furred, cream broken-mackerel tabby-and-white tom with pale hazel eyes. He is of average height (9.76"), with an intermediate body type.
